HEPARAN SULFATE AND HEPARIN OLIGOMER DERIVED FROM INSECTS AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a composition of insect-derived heparin substitute is provided to produce cheap material same as heparin. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing insect glycosaminoglycan comprises: a step of dipping an insect in an organic solvent to remove fats and filtering; a step of drying residue and pulverizing the residue; a step of treating the pulverized material with protease to decompose proteins; a step of removing the proteins from the residue; and a step of collecting saccharides from the residue. The insects include Cicada Paecilomyces japonica, silk-worm(Bomyx mori), or Poecilocoris lewisi. A composition for suppressing inflammation and enhancing immunity contains the insect glycosaminoglycan as an active ingredient. A composition for preventing and treating disease due to angiogenesis contains the insect glycosaminoglycan as an active ingredient.
