PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the temperature of a slab is provided to prevent the waving and scale generated around the slab, which has passed through an induction heater. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for controlling the temperature of a slab(10) comprises a plurality of spray nozzles(101) and a supply line(102). The plurality of spray nozzles is placed between a roughing roll and induction heater in continuous casting equipment. The plurality of spray nozzles is placed on upper and lower part of the slab transferred to the inductive heater. The spray nozzles spray coolants and air to the slab. The supply line is connected to the spray nozzles, and supplies the coolants and air to each spray nozzle. |
