PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an austenitic welded steel tube having excellent machineability and an austenitic welded steel tube manufactured by the same are provided to improve machineability of welded steel tubes and to enhance the softening of a welding part by controlling the range of temperature and deformation rate in a step for correcting the shape of the steel tubes after welding. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an austenitic welded steel tube is as follows. Austenitic steel tube is provided to manufacture an opened pipe. The austenitic steel tube is manufactured by welding. The shape of the steel tube is corrected in which the deformation rate of a final point is within 2%-5% at final point in a state where the temperature of a welding part is within 100-300°C. High strength steel is composed of 5-35wt% of manganese, 0.01-3wt% of aluminum, 0-1.5wt% of carbon, and the rest of iron. The high strength steel additionally include less than 0.0005-0.5wt.% of titanium and less than 0-0.5wt.% of vanadium.
