PURPOSE: A pulverized coal injection apparatus of a blast furnace and an injection method are provided to improve combustion efficiency of the pulverized coal by increasing the temperature of the pulverized coal rapidly by using microwave. CONSTITUTION: A pulverized coal injection apparatus of a blast furnace comprises a blow pipe(10), a magnetron(20), and a wave guide(22). The blow pipe blows hot air and pours pulverized coal. The magnetron generates microwave. The wave guide is installed in the magnetron and transmits the microwave into the blow pipe.
