PURPOSE: A menu display method of a portable terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to easily access a specific function by displaying a hidden menu for multi-touch, single drop, and single touch. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(131) displays a mode display screen in the operation of a portable terminal. A touch panel(133) senses touch for controlling the mode display screen. A controlling unit(150) senses multi touch from the touch panel. If a single drop is sensed, the controlling unit determines a hidden menu on the mode display screen. |
