METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH STRENGTH STEEL WIRE ROD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing high strength steel wires are provided to prevent cracks or breaking of wires by reducing a wire drawing process and to increase strength due to low temperature age hardening. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing high strength steel wires is as follows. Wire materials(1) are implemented primary heat treatment within 100-240°C after primary wire drawing. The wire materials passing through the primary wire drawing and heat treatment are implemented secondary heat treatment within100-240°C after secondary wire drawing. The step for implementing the wire drawing and heat treatment is implemented more than three times. The heat treatment is implemented for 30-240 seconds for each step.
