PURPOSE: A tester for testing an air conditioner of an engine locomotive is provided to connect a tester to an air conditioner after connecting a connector connecting an engine locomotive and the air conditioner to the tester and performs an inspection by operating switches of the tester one by one, thereby accurately detecting a malfunctioned portion while the air conditioner is mounted in an operating room of the engine locomotive. CONSTITUTION: A tester for testing an air conditioner of an engine locomotive comprises a connector connecting unit, a driving power display unit, a control power display unit, an operation inspecting unit, and a blower state display unit. The connector connecting unit connects an engine locomotive and an air conditioner. The driving power display unit displays the driving power for the air conditioner. The control power display unit displays the control power for controlling the air conditioner. The operation inspecting unit inspects the operation of the air conditioner. The blower state display unit displays the existence of the operation and a speed of a blower.
