ALLOY COMPOSITION FOR FILLER METAL AND ARC BRAZING METHOD FOR ZN-COATED STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE: A filler metal alloy composition and an arc brazing method of surface-treated steel sheets are provided to improve productivity by reducing bead defects, an instability of arc, and spatter. CONSTITUTION: A filler metal alloy composition is composed of Cu 94.5 to 97wt.%, Si 2.5 to 4wt.%, and Zn 0.5 to 1.5wt.%. The melting point of filler metal alloy composition is 800 to 900°C for accurate arc brazing. The average welding current is 40 to 60 ampere.
