PURPOSE: A device for measuring a thickness of an oxidized layer of a plated steel sheet is provided to photograph a color of an oxidized layer relatively having a large area by using a color photographing method and to monitors movement of the minute oxidized layer by using an average value of a plurality of CCD cells. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a thickness of an oxidized layer of a plated steel sheet comprises a light source for analyzing images, a color camera(42), and an image processing device(43). The light source for analyzing the images irradiates lights for analyzing the images to a plated steel sheet. The color camera obtains color images by photographing the plated steel plate in which the lights for analyzing the images. The image processing device averages all of R, G, B output values of color images, thereby obtaining single average R, G, B value and measure a thickness of the oxidized layer of the plated steel plate.
