REFRACTORY BODY FOR CONVERTER TAP HOLE AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A refractory of a tap hole of a converter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the abrasive damage due to flow of molten steel by heat-treating a refractory through a complete combustion-type metal fiber burner. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for the refractory of the tap hole of a converter is as follows. Raw materials for the refractory are shaped into the shape of a tap hole. The formed refractory is heat-treated. The movable surface(3) of an inner hole contacted with a steel is heat-treated by using a metal fiber burner.
