ROOPER SUPPORT ROLL FOR CONTROLING MEANDER OF STRIP

PURPOSE: A looper supporting roll for regulating the meandering of a strip is provided to smoothly move the strip in a center of a support roll by forming the support roll into a double-headed drum shape. CONSTITUTION: A looper supporting roll(100) for regulating the meandering of a strip is formed into a double-headed drum shape, which has larger outer diameter than that of a center portion in a lateral direction. A reinforcing members(102) are correspondently formed to both sides of the strip. The reinforcing members prevent the strip from becoming worn. A rotary shaft(101) is installed in the both sides of the support roll.
