MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING SMART SEARCH WIDGET AND SEARCHING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal and searching method thereof are provided to interlock one smart searching widget with grouped website and preference applications by grouping the preference applications and searchable websites. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(210) includes a search widget area(300). The display unit displays a search window(320) on the search widget area. The display unit displays a smart search widget including plural searching icons(310) corresponding to each search site at the one side of the searching window. A control unit displays a login window for one or more search sites of the search sites on the screen of the display unit according to recognition results of the established touch input signal for the search widget area.
