<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an oil pump which can adjust pump capacity by efficiently using delivery pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The oil pump is constituted for reducing the pump capacity by revolving an outer rotor 13 around the driving rotational axis X by making the delivery pressure of a delivery port 3 act on the outer periphery of an adjusting ring 14 for supporting the outer rotor 13, includes a seal means S for restraining a flow of oil at seal points S1 and S2 of two places between the outer periphery of the adjusting ring 14 and an inner surface of a casing 1, and is constituted so that both the two seal points S1 and S2 move along the inner surface of the casing 1 in response to displacement of the adjusting ring 14, and the pressure direction Fu orthogonal to a virtual straight line U of connecting the seal points S1 and S2 of the two places, changes in response to the movement in the displacement direction Fy of the adjusting ring 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
