<p>Manufacturing a composition of 6-26C linear monocarboxylic acid alcohol esters and glycerin, comprises reacting fatty substances of animal or vegetable origin with 1-18C aliphatic monoalcohol in the presence of at least one acid-base heterogeneous catalyst based on metallophosphate (I).
