The fastener (10) has a deployable member e.g. retaining tab (24) and latch (27), movably mounted with respect to an elongated body (12) between an insertion and removal position of the fastener via a wall (8) and a deployable position in which the member protrudes outside the body. An adapter (61) e.g. horseshoe shaped thrust washer, is made of rigid material and mounted on the body. The adapter defines a bearing surface (68) against an upper internal surface (63) of a truncated cone shaped through-port (11). The body includes flat bars cooperating with inner surfaces of the adapter. An independent claim is also included for an assembly for assuring the support of a structure.
