PURPOSE: A coffee machine and a control method thereof are provided to extract first to fourth coffee with one operation and to extract coffee suitable to the taste of users by controlling discharged amount of hot and cold water according to the selection of users. CONSTITUTION: A coffee machine comprises a water tank(10), a pump(30), a control valve(20), a heater(40), a capsule holder(50), an undiluted solution discharge line(60), a hot water discharge line(70), a cold water discharge line(80), and a control part(100). A first button and a second button are formed in the control part. The first button controls that first coffee and second coffee can be discharged according to time pressing the first button. The second button controls that second coffee and third coffee can be discharged according to time pressing the second button. For the first coffee, a hot water discharge valve(71) and a control valve can be successively opened by pressing the first button less than a predetermined time and hot water is discharged to the hot water discharge line by driving a pump. |
