CLEANING DEVICE FOR STUD BOLTS USING DRY ICE PELLET BLASTING

PURPOSE: An apparatus for cleaning stud bolts using the blasting of dry ice pellets is provided to increase the performance of cleaning the stud bolts by controlling the speed of jetting the dry ice pellets. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cleaning stud bolts using the blasting of dry ice pellets comprises an auto cleaning booth(10), a carrier jig(20), a jig rotating unit(30), a bolt rotating unit, a blasting unit, and a dust collection unit(60). The auto cleaning booth prevents foreign materials from scattering, and comprises a cover(11) offering a space for cleaning the stud bolts. The carrier jig is installed in a vertical support(21) inside the auto cleaning booth. The stud bolt is settled at the carrier jig. The jig rotating unit vertically and horizontally rotates the carrier jig. The bolt rotating unit clockwise and counterclockwise rotates the stud bolts. A cleaning nozzle of the blasting unit moves along the longitudinal direction of the stud bolts, and cleans the stud bolts by jetting the dry ice pellets to the stud bolts. The dust collection unit collects scattering materials generated when cleaning the stud bolts.
