The retroreflector (2) has a body comprising fixing portions and a reflective surface extending over a major portion of a surface of a body. The reflective surface has reflecting surface portions including major portions that are formed such that the major portions are orthogonal to direction of rotation of a spoked wheel (3) and transverse to direction of travel of a vehicle. The fixing portions are arranged at opposite ends of the body along direction of length. A head fixing portion hooks over crossing of two spokes (1), and a tail fixing portion is fastened onto a single spoke.
