The bracket (1) has an arm (2) with a through-opening (3) for fixing the bracket to a construction through screwing. Another arm (8) includes an external surface forming a wall face of a joinery work frame to be fixed to a construction. The latter arm includes a notch (9) to define an access opening of a screw to the through-opening formed in the former arm for fixing the former arm to the construction through screwing. The through-opening of the former arm is arranged in a boss (4) of the former arm, where the boss is projected along the direction of an interarm space of the bracket. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a joinery work frame to an opening of a construction using a square shaped bracket.
