The part i.e. bumper (1), has an air inlet opening (3) and a flap (4) that is movable between an open position in which the flap allows entry of air through the opening and a retracted position in which the flap partially closes the entry of air through the opening. The flap is mounted to be movable against the action of an energy absorption unit i.e. elastic return unit such as helicoid spring, between the closed position and the retracted position relative to the closed position.
