FAULT DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM FOR NEUTRAL SWITCH AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A neutral switch failure diagnosing device and a method thereof are provided to diagnose fault detecting method for a neutral switch related with engine driving condition detection. CONSTITUTION: A neutral switch failure diagnosing device comprises a diagnosis condition confirmation part(100), a state judgment part(200), and a failure detector(300). The diagnosis condition confirmation part monitors vehicle speed and the RPM of an engine and confirms the diagnosis condition satisfaction. The state judgment part compares one or more state parameter corresponding to the present vehicle state with preset values and monitors the fault of a neutral switch. The failure detector detects the change of neutral switch signals and diagnoses the fault of a neutral switch.
