PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition containing Perna canaliculus extract and gluconic acid, or salt thereof is provided to ensure long-term activation of the extract and to enhance anti-inflammation effect. CONSTITUTION: An anti-inflammatory composition contains Perna canaliculus extract and gluconic acid, or salt thereof. The salt is alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt. The alkali metal salt is sodium or potassium. The alkaline earth metal salt is calcium or magnesium. The composition is used for preventing or treating arthritis. The extract is stabilized by adding gluconic acid or salt thereof to the extract. |
