摘要 PURPOSE: A light weight timber-plastic composite and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to mold by using foam beads, thereby having uniform distribution of pores inside the final products. CONSTITUTION: A light weight timber-plastic composite comprises an inner foaming layer and a surface layer. The inner foaming layer comprises form beads. The foam bead includes a raw material of a resin complex. The resin composite comprises 15-50 weight% of wood dust or wood fiber and 20-60 weight% of synthetic resin. The resin composite additionally includes 40-70 weight% of inorganic foaming agent. A surface layer is formed by surface treating the inner foaming layer. The inner foaming layer and the surface layer are formed into one body. The surface treating fuses and compresses the surface part of the inner foaming layer by heating and pressurizing the inner foaming layer. The synthetic resin is one or more selected from a group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene and polystyrene. The inorganic foaming agent is bicarbonate of soda or calcium carbonate.
