PURPOSE: A substrate for mounting a needle for a probe card is provided to improve reliability of a test by contacting a probe of the needle to an exact location on the substrate. CONSTITUTION: A needle(320) comprises a probe part(321) and a supporting part(322). The probe part includes a sharp probe(P) which electrically contacts a semiconductor device. One part of the sharp probe is inserted into a reinforcement recess(311) formed on a substrate(310). The supporting part is fixed to the substrate using a welding substance(W). The supporting part supports the probe part while being integrally connected with the probe part.
