<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection in a self-diagnosis function of a brake system in a situation that a temperature of an operating fluid is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: The brake system is so structured that when a liquid pressure generated by a power liquid pressure source device continues to be lower than a threshold liquid pressure P<SB POS="POST">B</SB>for a threshold continuing time T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>or longer in travelling, supply of the operating liquid to a brake cylinder is switched from the power liquid pressure source device to a master cylinder device. The brake system is structured so as to achieve at least one of a value P<SB POS="POST">B</SB>' which is a lower threshold liquid pressure, and a value T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>' which is a longer threshold continuing time when it is estimated that the temperature of the operating fluid is lowered more than a set temperature. Erroneous diagnosis, that the power liquid pressure source device is abnormal, can be prevented in a situation that the temperature of the operating fluid is lower than the set temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
