<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting filter which can suppress deterioration in air permeability, a deodorization property and dust collection performance, a method for manufacturing the dust collecting filter and to provide an air cleaner. <P>SOLUTION: Air sucked by operation of a blower is filtered by a prefilter 2 to catch rough dust, is deodorized by a deodorizing filter 3, is made to pass a shape retention sheet provided at the dust collecting filter 4 to be deodorized by activated carbon and a water soluble deodorant attached onto the shape retention sheet and further is filtered by a collecting sheet to catch fine dust and then the air is blown out. Since not only the deodorizing filter 3 but also the dust collecting filter 4 have the deodorization property, deodorizing capacity is improved. Further since the collecting sheet is shape-retained by the shape retention sheet, deterioration in the dust collection performance and the deodorization property due to useless deformation is prevented. Moreover since activated carbon and the water soluble deodorant do not fall by self-weight and cause no deviation, deterioration in air permeability and the deodorization property is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
