<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can appropriately reproduce the video by sufficiently correcting an illumination state when an illumination environment changes for the whole subject, to reproduce a change in a short period as a video when a scene in which a sudden subject environment change such as a traversal on the subject occurs is photographed or when the subject whose condition such as brightness or a color changes in the short period is photographed. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging control means controlling correction of the video of an imaging system; a clocking means clocking length of time when a correction control amount does not reach a correction target and generating time information; an information recording means associating the time information with the video so as to record it; and a correcting means in reproduction, which corrects the video by referring to the time information in reproduction.
