<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal amplification apparatus and an audio signal amplification method that can improve a sound quality degradation of a class D amplifier irrespective of the location of a distortion or noise. <P>SOLUTION: A PWM conversion circuit 11 pulse-width-modulates an input audio signal to generate a PWM signal. An output stage transistor 13 switches according to the generated PWM signal to amplify the PWM signal according to a voltage applied from a variable output power supply device 17. An output filter 14 demodulates the amplified PWM signal to generate an output audio signal. The variable output power supply device 17 controls the voltage applied to the output stage transistor 13 in accordance with a difference between the output audio signal and the input audio signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
