<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for vehicle transmission, improving positional accuracy of a mobile body detected by a detection means, and including an operation means which enables turning operation in two directions where axial directions cross each other. <P>SOLUTION: When a knob 90 is turned to a select operation direction, a slider 40 slides by being guided by the guide groove 36 of a slider support section 34. However, when the knob 90 is turned in a shift operation direction, a turning plate 122 pressed by the width direction edge face of a select lever 50 presses a sidewall section 24, and turns a slider support body 20 around a shaft 56. When the knob 90 is turned in the shift operation direction, the slider 40 is only turned around the shaft part 28, and turning of the knob 90 is not converted to movement in the other direction. As a result, regarding the turning operation of the knob 90 in the shift operation direction, there is little influence of backlash between parts, and positional accuracy of a permanent magnet 152 provided in the slider 40 is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
