<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can reduce in size of an area for storing vector format data for displaying a screen and can display a screen having an excellent user response. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device comprises a screen vector data generating section 143, a data storage section 120, a video memory 180, and update processing section 144. The screen vector data generating section 143 generates screen vector data for configuring a screen, based on information stored in the data storage section 120 and using graphics data stored therein, and allows the video memory 180 to store the screen vector. The update processing section 144 generates update reference information containing position information indicating positions at which parameters to be changed are stored in the video memory 180 when the screen is updated based on the information stored in the data storage section 120. When the screen is updated, the update processing section 144 changes the parameters stored at the positions indicated by the position information contained in the update reference information, in the screen vector data stored in the video memory 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
