<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent antenna device and a communication device, which materialize a broadband in a comparatively high frequency area, and are configured to have a small size and low height. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna device is composed of a first antenna element, a second antenna element, and a hybrid circuit in which the antenna elements are respectively connected through different transmission lines. According to which input port of the hybrid circuit is excited, the delay line length of the transmission line connecting the second antenna element to the hybrid circuit is adjusted, thereby in-phase coupling the first antenna element and the second antenna element. Consequently, the characteristics of a broadband can be obtained, and a band is expanded in a low frequency side or a high frequency side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
