<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine whether a target is a moving target or not even in a detection area from which information other than distances cannot be obtained in a radar apparatus for detecting a target in a plurality of detection areas including the detection area from which information other than the target cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: When a target in tracking does not exist in a side detection area (S110: NO) and the target (side detection target) is detected based on a measurement result in a side search mode (S120: YES), and simultaneously a moving target (overlapped area moving target) is detected in an overlapped area based on a measurement result in a rear search mode (S130: YES, S140: NO), the side detection target is registered as a tracking target required to be tracked in the side detection area and the registered tracking target succeeds to the information of the overlapped area moving target (S150). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
