摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix substrate capable of enhancing the degree of freedom in a layout and of preventing a reduction in display quality due to a heat source on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix substrate includes: a pixel circuit including scanning lines 22, data lines 24 and pixels 26; an input pad portion 30 including a plurality of pads formed along one side of a semiconductor substrate; a high speed serial interface circuit 40; a logic circuit 50 for generating gradation data based on an output from the high speed serial interface circuit 40; a data line driving circuit 60 for driving a plurality of data lines 24 based on the gradation data; and a scanning line driving circuit 70 for driving the scanning lines 22 based on control signals. The input pad portion 30, the high speed serial interface circuit 40 and the logic circuit 50 are sequentially disposed from one side of the semiconductor substrate between the one side of the semiconductor substrate and the pixel circuit.
