PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure to eliminate or reduce operation sounds (including collisions and contacts caused between members and vibrations of the members) occurring in a housing.

SOLUTION: A terminal device includes: a sound obtaining part 10 obtaining an operation sound occurring in a housing in conjunction with an operation conducted to the housing and outputting an operation sound signal representing the operation sound; an elimination sound signal generation part 11 generating an elimination sound signal representing an elimination sound that eliminates or reduces the operation sound based on the operation sound signal output from the sound obtaining part 10; and a sound output part 12 outputting the elimination sound based on the elimination sound signal generated in the elimination sound signal generation part 11.
