MIRROR COMPONENT AND OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE WITH MIRROR COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror component for optical path conversion being manufactured at a low cost without using an expensive device such as an exposure device and having high productivity.

SOLUTION: The mirror component for the optical path conversion to be joined with an end face of the optical waveguide in a light transmission direction at least includes: a light guide part in which the light propagates; and a 45° mirror surface that reflects the light in a direction perpendicular to the incident direction inside the light guide part. The light guide part at least includes: a joining surface (a first surface) that faces the 45° mirror surface and is joined with the optical waveguide; a second surface that forms the 45° mirror surface; and a third surface that faces the 45° mirror surface and makes the light enter it or emitted therefrom.
