<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access restriction method for a LAN device which sufficiently ensures security without making log-in information complicated. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer for maintenance inputs maintenance log-in information comprising a log-in name, a log-in password, and a connection port number to a LAN device (S4). The LAN device completes a maintenance log-in (S7) when the log-in name, log-in password, and connection port number of the maintenance log-in information input from the personal computer all match a reference log-in name, a reference log-in password, and a reference connection port number held as parameters in the LAN device (S5, S6), and changes the reference connection port to another new reference connection port number (S9) when the maintenance log-in is completed, when the connection port number does not match the reference connection port number, or when the log-in name and log-in password do not match the reference log-in name and reference log-in password. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
