<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist the operation force of a shift arm to prevent reverse shift lock during reverse shift. <P>SOLUTION: A casing 10 includes a biasing means 41 provided on the side of the casing 10 that faces a shift arm 30, and a cam part 46 which is integrally formed on the side of the shift arm 30. At a position facing a ball 43 of the biasing means 41, the cam part 46 includes first-third step parts 47a-47c along the movement direction of the shift arm 30, and a step part 47 with slopes comprising first and second sloping surfaces 47d and 47e located between the step parts. When a reverse idler gear 19 is moved from a disengaged position to a second engaged position through a first engaged position, the ball 43 which biases the first step part 47a is moved to a position in contact with the third step part 47c while pressing the first and second sloping surfaces 47d and 47e by a spring 45, and the force of the shift arm 30 for moving the reverse idler gear 19 is assisted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
