<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of the dead bodies or the like of bacteria or microorganisms to the outer surfaces of the granules of antibacterial glass, to continuously and effectively elute silver ions or copper ions from the antibacterial glass, and to effectively prevent growing of fungi, growing of algae or the like in a water tank. <P>SOLUTION: The antibacterial device (10) includes: a bottom plate (42) with holes supporting many antibacterial glass granules (T) stored in a casing (11); an inflow chamber (16) formed at the lower side of the bottom plate with the holes; and an overflow part (30) provided to the upper part of the casing. The bottom plate with the holes includes jetting port (43) communicating the region in the casing and the inflow chamber with each other. Water in the water tank is introduced into the inflow chamber under pressure, and the upward jet flow (F) of the water is formed at the region in the casing.
