A burner with preliminary mixing consists of an external shell and an internal shell coaxial with respect thereto. The external shell and internal shell form a conically narrowing annular gap. A diagonal vortex generator, consisting of blades with nozzles for supplying fuel to the flow, is arranged in the annular gap. Root and peripheral sections of the blades at a height of 3-8% of the blade length are offset in the direction of the back relative to the central sections by a value equal to 2-12% of the blade length. The proposed device reduces the probability of flashback on the inside along the boundary layer, which increases the burner operating reliability.
