<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a lightweight spoiler in which the strength of the back side having a fitting part is secured while increasing the decorativeness on the side of a design face. <P>SOLUTION: The cavities 60A, 60B of a pair of confronted split dies 58A, 58B are provided with pinch off parts 62A, 62B, they are relatively movable between a clamp position and a release position, respective thermoplastic resin sheets with different thicknesses in a molten state are respectively protruded out from the pinch off parts, air pressure is reduced from a closed space formed between the dies and them, the respective thermoplastic resin sheets are formed into cavity shape, thereafter, a pair of the split dies are moved to the clamp position, and the thermoplastic resin sheets are welded along the pinch off parts of the dies with each other. By this method, a spoiler with a hollow structure, in which the peripheral edge part of the body part having a design face and the peripheral edge part of a vehicle body fitting part are integrated, can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
