<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that has a short magnetic circuit for generating magnetic poles in respective magnetic salient poles of a rotor core. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 10 includes: a rotor core 16 that is fixed to a rotary shaft 15 including magnetic material and that has magnetic salient poles 18 formed therein; a stator 12 that has teeth 19 around which respective stator windings 21 are wound; a field yoke 13 that connects the stator 12 and the rotary shaft 15 magnetically; and field windings 14 that are arranged on sides of respective winding ends m of the stator windings 21 in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 15 and generate magnetic poles (n-poles) in the respective magnetic salient poles 18 of the rotor core 16 on energization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
