<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel in which such the problem is solved that a conventional train is affected by the weather and can not travel, when there is a heavy snowfall or strong wind, and becomes heavy due to an incorporated motor and a leading vehicle has a sharp nose since it receives air resistance and the noise of the train annoys surrounding residents, and which is constituted such that a capsule (2) travels in a tube (1) and consequently the noise thereof does not reach the surrounding residents and since the air in the tube (1) is moved by a blower (3), the motor is not incorporated in the capsule (2) and the head of the capsule (2) is not formed into a streamline shape. <P>SOLUTION: The capsule (2) travels in the tube (1). A branch pipe (4) is fitted to the tube (1).
