The piece i.e. half-shell, has flanges (120) forming a closed contour, and a laminated composite material having a thermoplastic matrix and a fibrous reinforcement with continuous fibers (130), where the fibrous reinforcement includes a majority of natural fibers of vegetable origin. The fiber reinforcement includes a fabric with fiber content equal to or greater than 30 percent by volume. The fabric includes a decoration layer having a printed pattern, where the decoration layer is fully covered by the thermoplastic matrix. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing piece (2) a device for manufacturing the piece.
