The socket has an inner housing (11) retained within an outer casing (10). First and second pin arrangements (14, 15) comprise two conductive pins (140, 150) that are retained in through-holes (104, 114) of the casing and the housing, respectively. A stress portion (154) is arranged at a predetermined location of the second pin arrangement. The second pin arrangement is forced into a vertical direction by the housing such that movement of the second pin arrangement is limited. A third pin arrangement (16) comprises a conductive pin (160) that is retained in the through holes of the casing.
