PURPOSE: A method and system for performing multi factor authentication using device identification information and multimedia identity information are provided to efficiently correspond to security threat including disguised connection to a specific system or network using a terminal and an account. CONSTITUTION: Information about user terminal identification and one or more multimedia identities are received(S11). User authentication information is configured for each user terminal(S12). User authentication request information is received from a user terminal or a third system related to the user terminal(S13). An input request of multimedia identity information selected from one or more multimedia identity information is transmitted to the user terminal(S14). The input requested multimedia identity information is transmitted from the user terminal(S15). The user authentication is performed for each user terminal(S16).
