PURPOSE: A check valve of a brake apparatus is provided to reduce the weight and the size of the valve by simplifying the structure of the valve and improve workability by being manufactured through a normal press working. CONSTITUTION: A check valve(100) of a brake apparatus comprises a valve housing(110), a ball(120), a spring(125), and a valve seat(130). The valve housing is coupled with the stepped portion(2b) of a hydraulic block(2) and an oil passage(112). The valve housing comprises a front end(110a), a middle end(110b), and a rear end(110c). The diameter of the front end is smaller than that of the middle end and tapered. The middle end is shaped into a cylindrical shape and accommodates the ball and a spring. The rear end is tapered from the middle end and the diameter is expanded. The ball opens or closes the inner oil passage. The spring supports the ball elastically. The valve seat comprises a seat header(130a), a seat body(130b), and a seat tail(130c) and guides the spring and coupled with the valve housing.
