POLYESTER MASTER BATCH HAVING AG-SILICA NANO-COMPOSITE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of polyester master batch is provided to provide a polyester master batch with excellent deodorizing and sterilizing performance, and to improve dispersity of silver-silcia nanocomposite and to able to control a size of particles by using a moderate surfactant. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of polyester master batch comprises: a step of surface-treating silica particles; a step of manufacturing a silver-silica composite by absorbing a silver particle on the surface treated silica; and a step of mixing the silver-silica composite and the polyester. The surface treatment is conducted by using aminopropyltrimethoxysilane or mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane. In the silver-silica composite production step, polyvinylpyrrolidone with molecular weight of 10,000-60,000 is added to adsorb silver particle to the silica.
