PURPOSE: An inner insulator of a furnace and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain uniform temperature over the whole area of a furnace and obtain high insulation effect. CONSTITUTION: An inner insulator(100) of a furnace comprises 38 wt% of Al2O3, 47 wt% of SiO2, and 15 wt% of ZrO2 and has a density of 0.030-0.035 g/cm^3. The inner insulator of a furnace includes an air layer. A method for manufacturing the inner insulator of a furnace comprises the steps of: mixing AlO3, SiO2, and ZrO2 at a specific ratio, hardening the mixture using a hardener, processing the hardened mixture into a predetermined shape, and plasticizing the shaped product. |
