PURPOSE: A method for preparing 3-hydroxypropionic acid using a recombinant microorganism is provided to enhance the productivity by resolve oxidation-reduction unbalance. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant microorganism for preparing 3-hydroxypropionic acid(3-HP) has an activity of reducing malonic semialdehyde to 3-HP and an activity of reducing malonyl-CoA to malonic semialdehyde. The malonyl-CoA reductase(mcr) activation and malonate semialdehyde reductase(msr) activation are derived from M. sedula. A recombinant microorganism for preparing 3-HP additionally has NADPH generation.
