<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an infrared sensor module that is capable of preventing reduction in measurement precision. <P>SOLUTION: A lens 5 is arranged above an infrared sensor 3 arranged on a board 2, and a sensor cover 6 having a seat wall 62 in which an opening 61 is formed and a side wall 63 that covers the region surrounding the infrared sensor 3 is placed on the board 2. Moreover, an IC-equipped section 4 which is electrically connected to the infrared sensor 3 via a wire 12 is arranged on the board 2.
